D&L barbers first opened its doors in the summer of '96. Born out the love for the local community, creating a safe, loving, family friendly space open for all ages, races and sexes. The goal was to have a respected shop, loved by the local and wider community. Known for our wide variety of national and international celebrities blessing our chairs, we have always been dedicated to providing a string professional service to our local regular clients first. The barbers have all adopted to values of the shop, conducting themselves in a very professional, non confrontational manner, trained to defuse aggressive and volatile situations. We have always encouraged and welcomed our clients to be free, be vocal, to feel free to be themselves without any judgment or prejudice. With this said, we have always instilled a strict no bad language policy understanding parents leave their children trusting us to behave in a correct manner, knowing one of our ideals is to love, nurture, educate and protect the next generation. Promoting self growth, we have always dedicated time to teach and help grow, wether it's clients or barbers, our goal is for them to walk out of our doors with the skills, drive and passion to go forward and fulfil their dreams. No man is an island, no 1 man can do it all by themselves, which is why we have always promoted family and loyalty. We need friends around us to teach and sometimes show us a new vision and direction. Each 1 teach 1..... We are all equal and can learn from each other. We learn something new everyday, so we approach every day with an open mind ready to give and receive.
